Our Impact
Every dollar the PTO raises stays at Baldwin Elementary. Here's where your support goes each year: into classrooms, out on field trips and back to the people who show up for our kids every day.
In the Classroom
Teachers and specialists can apply for classroom grants for the things that make learning click, like flexible seating, hands-on materials and learning tools. PTO members review and vote on every request, so the money goes where it's needed most. Teachers receive gifts from the PTO as well.

Students read on alternative seating procured through a classroom grant.
Beyond the Classroom
We help pay for field trips at nearly every grade level. That keeps costs down for families and gets kids out learning hands-on, from the zoo to the nature center.

Kindergarteners enjoy a field trip to the Topeka Zoo, partially funded by the PTO.
For Teachers & Staff
Our teachers and staff give so much to our kids, and we make sure they feel it all year long:
Â
-
A themed snack cart in both buildings every month
-
Meals during parent-teacher conferences
-
Custodian Appreciation Day and Secretary Appreciation Day
-
A full Staff Appreciation Week every May

Teachers and staff enjoy orange snacks from the Orange You Glad It's Hump Day snack cart.
School-Wide Fun
PTO support also makes possible the moments kids remember long after the school year ends. That includes the Bullpup Block Party, Field Day inflatables, the Read-a-thon and community events throughout the year.

Students enjoy field day at the end of the year.
